Now that the worst has passed and I am here in the quiet to collect my ideas, I am no longer so sure. Once again it has been hard and I am not very clear about the origin and direction of these winds that sometimes everything shatter ". With these words Fulvio Tomasi accompanies his etching, where fluctuating and indefinite forms weigh menacingly on the figure of a man with a disturbing grin who seems to move away from them but who, at the same time, seems unable to detach himself from them. And with him he carries a piece of what surrounds him, close to the chest, close to the soul. A piece of our pain, a piece of our fears, a piece of everything that, in some moments of our life returns, accompanies us and with extreme effort we try to remove. But it suddenly reappears, as sudden as a summer storm, noisy and threatening like the branches of trees battered by the storm, as dark as an unknown forest. Scary as our certainties. Inside, outside: in the continuous alternation of these two conditions, where is the threshold of our mood? - Walter Pazzaia from "Grafica d'Arte" n ° 61, Edi.Artes, Milan, 2005
