- Giulia Donati born creative, became an architect. -

Giulia Donati was born and raised in Bergamo, between the shelves of a furnishing accessories shop and an engineering company. Her great curiosity, since she was a child, pushed her to look for limits in things and, thus, she decided to continue doing it even as an adult. After her scientific studies, she finished her university career in 2018 with a Master in Architecture at the Mendrisio Academy, in Switzerland.

To closely observe the aesthetic beauty and formal simplicity of Nordic design, during her university years she moved to Stockholm for a short time. She says "This is how my desire to 'go back to being a child' and my interest in the use of materials were felt", then Safari Farm was born: a collection of small aluminum animals with a simple and fun design, only for true connoisseurs.

After graduation and some collaboration, she decided to go "home" and get closer to her own city. Her work has given her the opportunity to put her hand to real projects, to be able to develop the details and to travel a lot in Italy and abroad. It was then that she started experimenting and discovering all the limits of the materials she was working with. From aluminum, which has accompanied her since childhood, to SSM (solid surface material) in its pure simplicity.

From there her creations are born: unique pieces, handmade and all 100% made in Italy. Simple and traditional shapes are reinterpreted in a modern key with innovative materials and unique production processes. All "dusted" by a pinch of amazement, wonder and dream.

In addition to her collections, she develops customized projects and settings for every occasion and space.

Gottfried Semper, Der Stil: “Each material affects the way it is formed thanks to the properties that distinguish it from other materials and which require appropriate technical treatment”.
