Mauro Capelli

Mauro Capelli was born in Ubiale Clanezzo in 1959 where he currently lives and works. His passion for art matured since he was a child when he loved to contemplate the beauties of his Bergamo valleys and impress them with colors on small sheets of paper.
1990 is the year in which the great change takes place. He attended the school of the poet-painter Cesare Benaglia and painting took over all his passions, pushing him to create his first great works that have landscapes and figures as subjects. In a short time the young artist was noticed in painting competitions and exhibitions by collectors and critics who gave him important awards. Mauro Capelli fell in love with the poetry of a landscape, the observation of a forest, the light-filled corners of his Brembo. After the daily work that provides him and his family with a living, he feels the need to approach art, albeit on tiptoe. The assiduous contact with nature has allowed him to study it more and more thoroughly and propose it through its colors with worthy mastery.
The results come in relation to the constancy that one has in one's work, of which the difficulties are many: perhaps even one life is not enough to complete the desired projects . Faith, dedication, professionalism can make miracles work that enrich one's existence with true values and be able to transmit them to others. It would seem rhetorical to exalt Mauro Capelli's skills. The result of his hard work is the most truthful confirmation of this.
