Giulio Bassi was born in Bergamo on 13th May 1962. Professionally engaged in the business consulting sector, he has always considered photography as a space for the realisation of his main passions and for the "sanitation" of the spirit. In the most stressful moments of financial work, photography manages to rebalance values towards a more human rhythm and towards more serene relationships. The search for emotions, personal satisfaction and the attempt to grasp what is beautiful in everyday life and normality is what governs his desire to photograph. The greatest achievement for his photography is knowing that a photo has stimulated in those who see it emotions, feelings, memories and a shock of humanity.
At the dawn of "Google plus" he was reported among the 100 most followed photographers in the world, he was reported in some competitions including the Bachelet Prize in the early 2000s and in some online competitions. In 2012 he attended the photojournalism master of "Obiettivo Reporter" in Milan.
