Emanuele Grazioli, artist from Pontirolo Nuovo, Italy describes himself and his understanding of Art with below statements;
"I look ahead, inside and beyond.
I close my eyes, I am silent and (...) I put it on canvas.
I was lucky enough to grow up in a family where art in all its forms and making in the artisan sense are valued in the expression of the self, beauty and uniqueness of the person.
I love black because it teaches us to be aware, capable as it is of revealing, it shows the light and truth of things, and white because it becomes measure, strength, degree of intensity.
I try, The contrast reveals the details, the hidden aspects come to the fore and the defects of the forms fade.
I started from a very young age to transform any object that came into my hands into something alive.
Matter changes in contact with me i can feel every imperceptible roughness: knowing it and shaping it I gave life to my existence.
So I grew up studying and practicing music and painting so far.
My colors are vivid and excessive, they hypnotize me and trigger a deep thrill that explodes, pervades me spilling over every surface and then returning to the center from which it started.
After the artistic high school I worked as a craftsman in the field of fine arts, dealing with restoration and decoration, finally landing in educational and training contexts in the creative, pictorial and musical fields.
Outside it all looks so simple.
It's inside? It is enough to ask black to cover everything and white to cancel it.
Painting, singing, composing restores value to everything in me.
Teams with life and death, pain and joy, frustration, enjoyment, love.
Art belongs to me in a primordial way, it shakes me brutally, heals me and revives me every time I get in touch with it.
It is the place where I can go mad and be resurrected."
